    I've been up there. Did you do the bungy jump? I did the very sedate "granny luge". Best time ever.

    Luged as well @Annie C. I bungy jumped when last in NZ....I don't need to do it again! :open_mouth:

    I think I have these trees on our block. We have 2 and they look very similar. Ours are flowering and are stunningly covered in yellow flowers. We have always called them Yellow Jacaranda. I wonder if they are the same.

    The classy 1912 Earnslaw docked at Walter Peak High Country Farm.
    We had a 3 course conference meal there @Annie C . I am much more a bbq gal and think I missed the better experience there.  That's not to say tge food wasn't wonderful!

    No sure @Annie C,

    I was told they are called Golden Rain because it looks like it's raining gold flowers when they all start to float down. I am sure there is a more scientific name for them.
