Help with my dreadlocked hair

Hey there 
I have dreadlocked hair and i dont know how to fix it. I have ordered a night cap for when i can get the dreadlocks out but arrrrgh what to do for now

    Hi Trikki2 - that happened to me just before my second chemo after I had wet my hair in the shower.  I came out with a big mat in the back and sat there in tears trying to comb it out - in the end I had to cut some on it out - was no other way I was getting rid of it could not get a comb through it to save myself.  Good luck xoxoxox

    Maybe conditioner and an afro comb?

    Yep, conditioner was always used when my hair was a mess @Trikki2
     .... it makes it slippery so the comb goes thru easier ....

    If it is REALLY REALLY matted (like Rasta Dreadlocks ...) you'd pretty well have to just  chop it off & start again, I reckon!  :(

    Well yesterday i got home from 3 days in hospital. The nurse showered me and cut my hair. It feels so much better thanks. Im surprised my hair looks better.

    Well 2 days after chemo. I was awful.with shakes etc. No temp.though. lots of tests etc and treated me for infection b4 they feel infection got me. Still feeling low. So over it. Xxxx
