Even the late Dr Hugh Wirth was dubious about keeping any dog of the greyhound species off a couch! Our still missed whippet was perfectly clear that his bony frame needed padding and lots of it!
Well there is only one Harry my beloved mini Schauzer who joins us every morning on the bed ( rarely with a towel however - that’s for my husband’s feet)
This is our Storm. Who is trouble but personality plus and is now no longer allowed outside when the temp hits 30oC after his almost fatal encounter with a brown snake last year.

Lucy in the office now aged 10 sleeps all day
Lucy aged 2 and Milo aged 1
Lucy and Milo are Bichon Friese but we clip them short due to heat here. She is not spoilt much... roll of eyes she has a bed in each room with her pillows and blanket in our cold winters she is under the Quilt with my Daughter with her own electric blanket on !!! https//dogloversshow.com.au/directory/breeds/bichon-frise/
Love this post. I have 2 cats that have been great company and emotional support. Boo the ginger one has cancer too so we can commiserate. Kiwi the young one is my nurse and just likes to lie on my chest/stomach and stare at me. There is also a work pigeon that is my other baby and gets dressed up for occasions such as St Patrick’s day.
@Tennille You're living the dream. I begged my parents for a ferret but my Dad hated them (his uncle kept a lot of them for rabbiting and Dad made the mistake of teasing one when he was a kid) Would also love more cats, a dog and a beardie.
My blind and deaf 16.5 year old Standard Schnauzer Australian Champion Schnappy Nitro. He has a sling to help him up and down our 13 stairs now which is much better than me lugging his 20kg up and down stairs. I was getting out of breath carrying him and my doc says I have a touch of emphysema. At least I am not blind and deaf like Nitro yet.
Don't think i have done that quite right !!!!! Don't really know what i am doing can someone please let me know what to do i looked on the how to thread and tried to do what it said but must have got it wrong DOH!!!
