Hello, 7 year post Her2 + diagnosis. All going well. I have had a mammogram and ultrasound each year post diagnosis however not this year(7) just wondering is this an oversight or normal?

I kept mine up for ten years! I am now on a once every two year regime. It’s very individual, some find the whole testing process quite triggering, others find it reassuring. As long as you are feeling comfortable, it’s fine.2

I am at year nine and still have the yearly tests. Like Afraser I will probably go back to every two years after the next one. Having said that, if my GP recommends annually I will agree to that.1

Hmmm .... I thought it was at least for 10 years 'freebie' ..... Can you discuss your concern with your Onc or Rad Onc - one of them usually gives you the referral for the 'best' Mammogram (Breast tomosynthesis is an advanced form of mammography that the 'Rural Buses' just don't have ....)
All the best xx0 -
Thankyou, have made appointment with GP to get a referral.
It never leaves, always in the background- thankful for a second chance 😊1
