Hello old friends and new.
My wife was diagnosed with TNBC in June 2019. The whole world turned inside out and those dark days have changed both of us, but life goes on. They say time heals everything, and I don't know if that's true, but I have some exciting news I wanted to share with the community.
She has been a physiotherapist for the last 20 years, and about ten years ago she started specialising in lymphoedema and post cancer rehab.
As you all know, Cancer changes the way you feel about life, and that includes your work. She decided to do this some time ago, and now she has done it: she has opened her own Lymphoedema and oncology rehabilitation Physiotherapy clinic!
I wouldn't exactly describe it as a labour of love, but she definitely wants to give back to the community and her over-riding goal is to provide this service to people who need it. There is a shortage of lymphoedema services where we live, and all over really.
I just feel so much in awe of her and so proud to see how she is taking this new challenge on.
I know that I benefited greatly from the support of this community and I wanted to celebrate this development with you all.
Much love to all of you and yours.

Wonderful @strongtogether. I love to hear a positive update. Thank you so much and all the best for the new venture. Having been through this will give her so much better understanding. Like you, I don't know if time heals everything but at least it mutes it a bit.1

Hello @strongtogether. That is wonderful news, such an inspiration that someone has the skill to help others and themselves at the same time. Wish I lived in Brisbane.1
