Hello everyone,

Welcome to our fortnightly update and a warm welcome to all
of our new members who have joined us over the last two weeks.    I hope that you are settling into the
online community and are finding your way around.

As many of your know BCNA have kept the helpline open over
the last two weekends to support our members across Australia.  In these uncertain times with the outbreak of
COVID-19 we have had many incoming calls from member’s concerned about the
corconavirus and how it may impact them and their immune system. This includes
those having active treatment and those who have completed treatment.

If you are unsure of
your risk and have any questions or concerns please call us on our Helpline
1800 500 258 to speak with one of our cancer nurses.  Our helpline is currently open Monday to
Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.

In light of the need to social distance BCNA have been able to
establish and implement working from home measures for our team which has not interrupted
our service. Our team is working remotely and will continue to provide you and
all our members the very latest information and support.

Our online community provides a safe and supportive
environment for members to connect with others for peer support.  As you would already know, In light of
COVID-19 face to face breast cancer support groups are currently ceased.  If you know of anyone who needs support
please encourage them to join our online community or to call our helpline for
information and or support.
