Hi I am 46 and have been diagnosed (on 24th December) with Invasive ductal carcinoma with LVI. After joining the BCNA today I have been directed to this group. I have my first specialist appointment on either the 8th or 9th of January at the RBWH - I am a Brisbane North resident. I am waiting for this appointment before I let my 14 and 11 year old know as I would prefer to be able to give them some answers when I have the discussion. Very surreal week.

    Hi @noy.  And merry Christmas..
This is the hardest time, I think - waiting for the plan.  Once you know what it is, it will probably be a bit easier.

Hi @Noy - sorry .... I've missed this post as we aren't messaged when new posts go up!

How are you going?  I am guessing you've had your surgery now & got your pathology back - and have an idea of what your ongoing treatment will be?

They have excellent facilities in Qld, and some towns even have special 'pamper groups' for those on the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coasts ...
