My article
Hello ladies,
I am presenting at my professions international conference in Adelaide later this month so they decided to do a lead up article.
I thought I would share. Sorry the photo is on it's side and I look terrible in the photo!

- SisterMemberWell done @joeyliz. When and how long are you going to be here in Adelaide? Maybe we can grab a coffee if you're free?
- kmakmMemberThat's a fantastic interview @JoeyLiz. What thoughtful, considered answers. Congratulations and good luck with your presentation! K xox
- arpieMemberWell done, @JoeyLiz - a great article
- Blossom1961MemberThank you @JoeyLiz
- ZoffielMemberGood on you @JoeyLiz There are a few of us here who have been working as consumer advocates for years, but we are usually 'patients' when viewed by the medical fraternity. The amount of resistance I have met while trying to explain the user perspective ranges from tolerant with a hint of eye roll to patronising to downright rude. I don't have a medical qualification so I don't have a valid view; my opinion is driven by fear or ignorance or resistance misinformation or Google.
No one can say that about you. You will be a better practitioner for your experience and hopefully you can help change the perception of the person on the table. Mxx - iserbrownMemberExcellent! Best wishes as you'll awaken their senses - one of their profession telling it as it is from a patient viewpoint
Take care
