Wondering about Palbociclib negotiations.
Hi everyone, I'm on a trial of Palbociclib and Letrozole, which is great because I'm fortunate enough to have free access to Palbo. However, since Ribociclib was accepted onto the PBS but Pfizer rejected the Government's price on Palbociclib, I haven't heard anything about whether negotiations are ongoing or what the process is for Pfizer to have Palbociclib accepted onto the PBS. I might well have missed something in the media as I don't watch TV or read newspapers. I usually receive my information from the BCNA it's but I've seen nothing. Does anyone know anything about this?

- LeapfrogMember@"Patti J" I'm on a Palbociclib trial so I'm given it free, for which I'm eternally grateful. I just feel so sorry for those who have to pay $40,000 before it is capped, unlike us.
- Patti_JMember@Leapfrog. Fortunately my oncologist was also able to get me on to the almost free Palbociclib/Letrozole program. She has just lowered my dose.
- LeapfrogMember@iserbrown from what my oncologist told me it could take some time.
- LeapfrogMemberThank you. I spoke to my oncologist about this last week and he happens to be on the PBAC panel of advisers and he was able to explain the hold up in approval.
