Hi all,

Here we are at the end of our second week of soft launch.  Doesn't time fly when you're having fun?! :)

What's happening this week

This week we're continuing to work with the developers on fixing small issues remaining from the first launch, as well as testing some new functions for the content section of the site (subscriptions and order forms). We do hope to be able to test the 'report this' function, too, ready for live launch.

Again, the network might slow down or be unavailable during the times when new code is deployed, but we'll do our best to keep disruption to a minimum.

We'll also be widening the invitations to the network again, so don't be surprised to see some new members.  We would still ask that you don't give out the site URL yourselves, though, as the content section of the site is still in development.

Network activity

We're continuing to grow slowly and steadily and now have just over 70 members.  We also have some new groups, so do feel free to set up a group if you have an area of special interest.

Where to find help

Places you can go to if you're stuck:

  • Visit the Network "Getting Started" group and ask a question there.
  • Have a look at the Network Questions and Answers page which has answers to the most commonly asked questions.
  • Visit the 'Help' page and download the simple user guide.

If you can think of any additional questions for the Q & A page, or anything that would improve the user guide, then let us know.

That's it from me.  Do let us know if you need anything, and feel free to post your impressions of the network so far in the comments.
