Are you running or are you cheering?

So I have been counting down the Sunday's and I have 3 left until I tackle my very first fun run.  Should I start training now? I am going to take on 10km.

I bought myself some great headphones over the weekend and I plan to have some inspiring music to keep me going. My bestie runs marathons so I will be looking to her for advice :). I am writing a list of things that I need to think about before the big day and prepare for. Even though its 10km, this is a big deal for me.

Are you running? or will you be cheering someone on?

I can't wait to experience my first Sussan Women's Fun Run.

    Hi

Wish I could join you all. I will be in Melbourne on that weekend for a wedding, but in Lillydale and then taking my kids to Puffing Billy. Have fun!

    Cheers Karen

Sussan Women's fun run are as the name suggests a lot of fun!

I do hope your comment is tongue in cheek about should I start training.  If you've never done 5 or 10k at all it will be a long way.  If you have a bestie who is a marathoner then you will already have an idea.

Enjoy the warm up exercises and take in the atmosphere and the company of those around you and strike up conversations and before you know where you are you will be heading into the finish line.

Veteran of quite a few in the past but not fit enough at present

Have fun and I will be cheering you on.

Good on you!  Take Care  xx

I do have a very good level of fitness :) but running is a totally different feeling on the body.

I cannot wait to chat with everyone around me, I do love having conversations.

    Thank you x
