Edit: The site is up and running again now, so you should be able to use it as normal.  Please check everything in your profile and blog is functioning and leave a comment here if you notice any problems.

----------------------------------------------

Hi all,

As previously notified, we'll be taking the site offline today at about 12 midday. to move to our new server.

The site should only be offline for up to an hour, during which time we don't want you to create any new content.

So, from midday you'll notice the following access restrictions:

  • You won't be able to login.  You will, however, still be able to browse around and read
  • Because you won't be able to login, you also won't be able to make posts and/or comments, or make any updates to your profile
  • We're also planning to switch off ordering in the online shop, so no orders get lost during the transition.
I'll make another post here when access is back so you don't need to wear your fingers out trying to login, and also so you can welcome the site to its new home! :)

If you have any questions, just leave a comment here and we'll answer as quickly as we can.

Di

Yay!  We were so hoping that you'd all find it better, so it's great to hear the improvement is noticeable.

We've tested pretty thoroughly over the last few days, but do let us know here if you find anything not working.  :)

That's great to hear. The whole idea is that you shouldn't notice the technology so better speed=good! :)
