Hi everyone. My group had its third meeting on 4 November. We had a speaker, Mary Harvey, who has been an oncology nurse and is also a psychologist. She gave us a very interesting evening. She asked us all to tell her our stories and then asked us to tell her our feelings and emotions post diagnosis and post treatment.
It was an excellent session and we learned a lot about ourselves and our feelings. Mary is an excellent communicator and I'm going to ask her to come back again to speak to us in the new year.
Our next meeting will on 2 December at 7pm and will be a half hour meditation session followed by a Christmas party. If you are going to attend, please bring either a small cake or something sweet. Coffee and tea will be provided.
