Great post. I received a nomination and won an employee of the year once. It was lovely to be recognised. So sad in that same job I ended up leaving due to ridiculous work loads and bullying 7 years later. Times do change. And I agree, as a nurse we just get on with our jobs but it is lovely when people recognise that you are often working well above expectations (and pay grade)
