It was started by a lovely lady Louise Turner who had trouble finding info before her surgery. It is very informative.
Once you request membership you can read all the blogs and there are many who have had your op...myself included. The photo stories are very helpful. My story is one of them.

To access the different stories, when you are in the blog page you will see many tags down the right hand side of the page. Just click on the ones you think are relevant.
Whilst it is a huge operation, no doubt. I have recovered well and am now 14 weeks post op. Everyone is different and recovers at a different rate. My tip is to become as healthy as you can pre-op and get your cardiac fitness up. I did that and believe it helped me enormously.
