Hope all went well for you, I'm 8 weeks post mastectomy of left breast..feeling ok. Take care and wear the post op bra they provide you at the hosp., it jyst seems to keep it all in place. I was afraid to wear the bra till the nurses insisted and im glad i did...

Hi, i find wearing a cropv9top bra very comfy, i just remove the padding in it and place the padding provided from the hosp with post surgery bra. I wear it 24/7. I have brought my prostheses and two bras, ive yet to wear it. I had my mastectomy of left breast on 14/6, after a lumpectomy and removal of 13 lymp notes on 31/5. Radiation now happening. I must say the bras are cheaper at myer thanvthose specialised shops for it.

Hi everyone, I'm also down for the trial of this medication. I've signed papers and jhave been provided with all side effects and waiting for further information as im still on daily radiation. I'll do anything to get rid of that terrible word 'C'...

Hi Lmk74, i had 6months if chemo and was told my tumour had shrunk and didnt need mastectomy as initially said....so I had lymp nodes and lumpectomy done on 31/5/17. Pathology test done at the time of surgery showed further canxxx, so guess what i had a mastectomy 14 days later. What I'm trying to say is that somethings are just unknown. .its life

Re: Post op - 2nd op in 12 days.
Hi, i had 2 ops in 14 days, 1st lumpectomy and 13 lymph nodes removed. Pathology test from it came back with more Canxxx (i hate the word). As a result, another op for mastectomy was done exactly on the 14th day. My pain hasnt been too bad, i just accept it, i guess we're all different, i do get some nerve pain every so often. ..thats me. Good luck and take care..xxx

Hi, I use almond oil on my post chemo hair which is looking as its quite brittle and dry. Thank you for the information provided., i will try it once iam better after rads xxx

Re: My "choices" regarding treatment spelt out
Hi, i had 6 months of chemo plus hormone tabs letrozole, handled chemo ok,followed by mastectomy and rads to start end of the month. I was never given an option for chemo. My personal choice has always been that i would do ALL to ensure and know that i had done everything possible, and not regret it later on. I'm happy to do what ever it takes to stay alive or have the % reduced. Good luck and take care.
