This so wasn't what I was expecting at 58. This year has been full of health issues. Thought I was done. Then my boobs go "hold my beer"! Process to diagnosis full of snafus. Up to and including finding out during a phone consult :( Early stage BC. Lump I found in one, became cancer in both. PET scan clear elsewhere. HER2+…
Hi there I went bra shopping today to get some new bras of the type I bought when I had my double mastectomy and reconstruction and thought I would share. The bra is “ Comfort Revolution” by Playtex and is lovely and soft with a bit of padding and no underwire. I went from E cup to C cup and am slightly smaller on the…
Hi everyone. As the title says, I'm new here! Id rather not be, but am thankful for safe spaces like this. I was recalled after some abnormal results on my first mammogram & after a morning of more scans was told it was likely cancer so biopsies and ultrasound were done, then 2 days later it was confirmed to be Invasive…

E.g things to have ready at home for recovery, any necessary items I may need to make recovery a bit easier? Any tips are welcome, thank you

I need to decide by Tuesday 31/1 about a reconstruction (if that’s even possible) can anyone help with their…
Out of sheer luck I found a suspicious lump on my right breast in early June 2023. I didn’t think much of it, but thought I should have it looked at (as a friend of mine had breast cancer at 23). All I can say is thank god I did because after a mammogram, ultrasound and a painful biopsy I was diagnosed with breast cancer.…
Grateful for the site but wish it didn’t have a need to exist❤️ As I sat in my nicely warmed bath robe waiting for my second round of tests at Breastscreen, I was completely unprepared for an actual positive result the following week, and even less prepared for the treatment recommendation. I don’t know what I thought…
