You can private message people too by clicking on their name. Sorry I'm pretty useless at the advice part... but there's so many on here who will help with anything!!!

Hello Sharon, sorry to hear of your diagnosis but I'm so glad you found us early. We have all been where you are and you're right, it's completely overwhelming at first. There is a huge amount of information to take in and that's where this forum is fantastic. Even though all our diagnoses and treatment is different you always find someone to give some  advice or just listen. We understand how you feel - we completely get it.
Have you ordered your My Journey Kit yet. You can do that through the BCNA online site and it's
    a wonderful resource of information.
Have you been told anything about your breast-cancer?   Once surgery is booked and you have a treatment plan in place you will feel so much better.  I know that seems impossible now but having some control will help.
Try and take somebody with you to your appointments.  A second person to take notes or simply listen is  really helpful. I kept a notebook and jotted down every question I could think off between my surgeon appointments and it doesn't matter how silly you think the question is!  Otherwise I could guarantee once I was in front of the specialist I would  forget to ask  something.
It's horrible to have to go through this but you will be amazed at how strong you are. You're not doing this alone,  you have the support of everyone here.
Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.  Jane xx

Hi @Sharyn Sly you are doing a great job so far with using the online network :) We do have a number of resources that you may find useful. As mentioned above do you know if your My journey kit has been ordered? If there is anything I can help you with please just let me know.

Hi @Sharyn Sly, welcome. The early days of diagnosis are very overwhelming and scary. Once you have a plan in place it will get easier.

@Sharyn Sly Welcome to the Forum, it is incredibly overwhelming, however there is an abundance of support here. Maybe if you let people know your path so far and your diagnosis and where you are at, have you just had scans or have you had pathology from a lumpectomy? That will help alot for people to share their experiences and give some support.

With replying to anyone in this thread just put @ and then start to type their name it will come up, this will notify them there's a new comment.

If you have some questions ask away, I'm sure we can all help settle you a little. Hugs Melinda xo
