Hello everyone!

We're excited to announce that we will be visiting Geelong later this month to present the BCNA free ‘Living Well Beyond Breast Cancer’ information forum and we want to invite women, partners, family and friends from around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula to join us for the day.

The forum will highlight the medical, physical and emotional aspects of living well after a breast cancer diagnosis, and for the first time will include special breakaway sessions tailored specifically for early and secondary breast cancer.

The program will feature the latest information and advice from breast cancer and health experts, including treatment and care options, ways to manage the emotional and physical impact of breast cancer and inspiration from Olympian and breast cancer survivor Raelene Boyle.

When:

Thursday 26 June 2014
(Refreshments and light lunch will be provided)

Where:

Geelong Conference Centre, Eastern Park Gardens, Adams Crt, East Geelong

Speakers:

  • Dr Mustafa Khasraw, Medical Oncologist
  • Dr Carrie Lethborg, Social Worker
  • Raelene Boyle, AM MBE, Olympian and breast cancer survivor
  • Maxine Morand, BCNA CEO and breast cancer survivor

The forum is not only an opportunity to hear from expert speakers but also a chance to connect with and support others going through a similar experience.

For more information and to register visit www.bcna.org.au or call 1800 500 258

We hope to see you there!
