    How very true. I think this needs to go to every doctor & hospital in this country,  if not the world.

    I'm hunkered down on the couch with ginger tea until 5.15 hoping things improve--Ive been given an 8 hour reprieve to see how I respond to the antibiotics. The on call GP seemed to have been worded up by the practice nurse (who knows me well) and was OK with my overnight progress and seems to understand my reluctance to go to hospital unless it's absolutely necessary. It's a coming up to a long weekend, it will be a zoo in there --full of winery walkabout warriors and minimum staff levels.

    It's always on long weekends that things go pear-shaped, isn't it? I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you @Zoffiel . If positive thoughts have any sway in the universe you've certainly got a lot of those coming to you from all over the country.

    My heart goes out to you @Zoffiel. Am hoping the antibiotics click in quickly for you and enable you to stay home where you wish to be.Long weekends are difficult times to be crook but if you need to go to hospital for iv antibiotics and greater care do so. Cellulitis is not to be mucked around with. Am in the wars too atm typing with one eye as surgery this morning - am lucky my specialist gave me the key to the bat cave - his private mobile number - so feel a little less anxious.
    Hopefully country people look after their own and someone is keeping an eye on you.Enjoy the ginger tea - I like slices of root ginger in boiling water myself- stay warm and safe as it’s blustery wet weekend coming up.Keep us all posted how you get on as we’ll be worried about our Zoffiel and looking forward to hearing your on the mend. XO
