Thanks, everyone. The Amazon myth says that they cut off a breast so that it didn't get in the way of the bow and arrows. Does this mean that I can call myself Amazon? No...perhaps that's as easy to misconstrue as Sister... (I wonder if the ambidextrous ones would have taken both breasts - lots of us could be Amazons!

I am technically ambidextrous and am missing both tits. That should mean my bow drawing skills would be extraordinary. Don't really know as it's years since I did any archery, but my pool playing skills are shit hot. Perhaps that's just because I can now get closer to the table?
At the risk of being accused of cultural misappropriation, Amazon sits better with me than most descriptions of our condition. A quick Google search turned up this little gem:
First of all, in case you're unaware, the Amazon myth has nothing to do with South America and the Amazon rainforest, and everything to do with Greek mythology. The Greeks believed the Amazons to be a matriarchal society of female warriors whose origins and land were a mystery even to the Athenians themselves. But one thing that the Greeks seemed to know for certain was that the Amazons only had one breast. In Greek, Amazons was actually spelled Amazones, which some translated into a, "without," and mazos, "breasts."
Maybe it's OK to nick stuff from the ancient Greeks? Let's be Amazons. Or BiAmazons. As long as I don't have to wear pink, I'll be in it. Marg

I agree - no pink. What's wrong with red or purple?I also think the LOL option should be changed to LMTO - like LMAO just different anatomy (but maybe that's a step too far.2
