I'm having trouble understanding your shorthand but I agree if not happy to wait and see...ask for removal and full biopsy.

I am not 100% sure what you are getting at either but make a list of questions for when you see your specialist on Thursday - and do not leave the office until you are satisfied with the answers.
It is a long hard road and you do have to be proactive if you are not happy with treatments.
Let us know how you get on.

@Nannatash   Hi!  I'm a little lost like others in your post, sorry.  Do you have a breast care nurse that you could ring and talk it through with prior to your next appointment?

    Hello@Nannatash
Thank you for your post.  It might be helpful to talk to one of our nurses tonight as our helpline is open until 9 pm AEDST.  We have a breast cancer nurse and cancer nurse available on the line.  The phone number is 1800 500 258.

Hey @Nannatash, so lovely,  If I'm reading this right you have 3 lesions in your natural breast but they did the biopsy on the lymph node on your mastectomy side? and you thought they were doing the biopsy on the remaining breast with the lesions but they didn't ? Is that right? If so have you questioned if your lymph nodes on your mastectomy side were showing changes in appearance that were a cause for concern. Also were your tests done at the Gold Coast Uni Hospital and also Robina Hospital? I understand that you want testing done for the lesions but I don't know whether a biopsy would be the test for those lesions. That may also be a question for your breast care nurse, breast surgeon (although if your surgeon was trying to stop you having your ultrasound or mammogram) I don't know if Id be too keen on their opinion. I hope you get the answers you need and also get to put your mind at rest in regard to the testing and whether you need further testing. I mainly hope that your outcome in regard to these lesions is favourable and that they are benign. Sending you a big hug lovely. Let us know how you go. Xx Cath

Hey @Nannatash, so glad that you have it all sorted and that you are relieved. It's hard when you have to question medical professionals about testing or treatment - that in itself is a cause for anxiety let alone having to question results and outcomes. Big hug lovely. Xoxo
