Sorry, my message got cut in half.

All the best for chemo. It can be more daunting thinking about it than when you are in the routine of it. xx

@LucyE I will thank you. I was starting to plan a trip to Europe with my husband and kids (18 &16) for my 40th in April next year. I have stopped researching now as I'm not sure how soon after chemo you can travel or how long they will wait after chemo before my double mastectomy or if I will have radiation or not, blah blah blah. I will get there one day but it may not be for my 40th.

Keep planning your trip and keep that in mind as you go through treatment. I planned a great trip to Italy during chemo and went last year. It was so amazing to finally be there. Don't book it in, but keep planning those destinations and your 40th European adventure might just be a bit longer in the planning stage!

Dear Tracy, My name is Bel and I too had Triple Neg, Grade 3, had Chemo and Radiation, as was told I had the bad cancer that has a possibility of coming back.  I want to send you a loving hug of understanding.  I still relate to your fear and some of the miss-placed words that Specialist use in the outset of a fight you never meant to start.  I have just made my 5 year mark.  For us, we know how great that is !  I also am a bit pifft off because I have just spent 5 years looking over my shoulder for the big return I kinda thought would happen.  It hasn't.  I am 51 years old, am not on any hormone therapies due to having had T.N. and am drug free.  I am my correct BMI and still drink 2 litres of water per day, exercise 3 or 4 times a week, do some yoga stretches, and try to relax or chill.  We live in Sydney and our lives have been very stressful over the last 3 years, and I am still well.  I drink about 2 bottles of wine per week with evening meals, and have finally returned to a couple of rows of chocolate, and something sweet like ice cream, each night.  I eat a very healthy diet, except for the once a week Thai, or Pizza, or creamy pasta dish.  I am still here, and I have had the Gene Testing, and discovered it was Genetic.  So each day as it comes lovely, and hang it there, coz its random and unfair, but learn to paint and practise mindfulness, most of all laugh and do fun stuff as often as possible.  X Bel
