Sentinel Node Biopsy

Hi All, today marks 1 week since my sentinel node biopsy and I just removed my steri strips! was it too early? the strip was about 8cm long and had started peeling off so i helped it a little, now I can see the lumpy scare  :(
Was it too early? should i see a gp and get another put on?

    Not sure - mine was taken off by surgeon BUT I was given another bandage before leaving hospital in anticipation of it falling off just to keep the area clean

    If you are worried ring the great nurse/ surgeon or see your local gp- better to b clear about it than worry over weekend

    I replaced mine every couple of days when it started lifting.  I was told to keep it covered for a few weeks to keep sterile plus reduce scarring.   I explained to the pharmacist what I needed the tape for and was given something which breathed but still provided support for both my sentinel node scar plus mastectomy scar
