CA 15 Tumor Marker Blood Test
Hi Everyone,
I am 3 months out of a Lumpectomy no further treatment for Her 2 BC. Just had bloods done and it revealed my CA 15 tumor markers were up from 25 to 46, weird as he did all other tests all the other tumor markers and blood calcuim etc and everything absolutely perfect except my iron levels as a vegetarian are super low always. I have just had a clear pet scan a few weeks ago all clear no sign normal lymphs and a ultrasound of the breasts yesterday that only showed scar tissue from op. I feel great heaps of energy do heaps of exercise daily sometimes a slight back ache but I do heavy weights so not sure, and sometimes feel a little nauseous but apart from that nothing. But wonder if we talk ourselves into symptoms when a little stressed. Imagine lum ps and things well sometimes I do.
Has anyone else had this problem I don't take any medications etc to affect the outcome of the test, however I did read that it can be high from surgery although that was 12 weeks ago.
Should I concern myself here................... Not going back to see oncologist till next month.
