My best wishes to all for a better 2020! I am not sure that 2019 rates as the best of years, quite irrespective of personal circumstances, so here’s to a happier, more constructive and hopeful New Year.

Sun protection
Since treatment my skin has become extremely sun sensitive. I cannot stand out in the direct sun for 5 whole minutes or I start to burn and my hair and skin become very hot. I now carry sunscreen in my bag if I go out shopping. I also have a cap in my bag if needed. I love fishing and kayaking and there is no way I am…

Happy Birthday
I only know one lady on this site. I see all the birthday greetings as they come up but feel individual comments are not really appropriate. It is not that I don't care. We are all in different places in our lives and at different stages of diagnosis, treatment and recovery/survival. We all have different thoughts and…

Exemestane and Joint/Muscle/Tendon Pain
I know this subject has probably been done over and over but I am interested in finding out if anyone has had success with controlling severe pain caused by aromatase inhibitors. I have had endometrial cancer and breast cancer. Both primary cancers. Both hormonally driven. As a result I need to stay on HIs possibly for the…

Skin Cancer
Post chemo and in the middle of my hormone treatments my skin has fast forwarded all the skin cancers I might have had detected when I was older. I am a fair skinned, freckled, red head so you know the skin type. I can burn within 5 minutes in the sun especially now I am on this skin drying Tamoxifen. The other day I…
